Kebili is the capital of of Kebili Governorate, one of the twenty-four governorates (provinces) of Tunisia. It is situated in south-western Tunisia, bordering Algeria. Kebili climate is very difficult in winter (very cold at night) and in summer (high temperature). The region is very nice to visit in spring and in the end of the fall.
Kebili is not one of the most picturesque settlements in this part of Tunisia. The houses here are white, but the oasis is starting just at the place where the houses and the streets end, and is well-kept and lusciuos.
